The Bank of Elk River was recognized this week during The City of Elk River’s council meeting for signing on as the key sponsor of the Riverfront Concert Series for the 15th year.
“Since 2008, they’ve loyally committed to not only financially sponsoring, but also volunteering each week and providing endless amounts of giveaways,” said Michael Hecker, parks and recreation manager. “For the last 15 years, we couldn’t think of a better partner, and we look forward to another great summer of concerts.”
Since the series began, The Bank of Elk River has donated $228,000, provided more than 3,000 volunteer hours, more than 63,000 bottles of water, and countless raffle tickets and giveaways.
“Community engagement is at the core of who we are—it’s in our DNA,” said Julia Schreifels, director of marketing and communications for The Bank of Elk River. “It is important for The Bank to partner with the city in an effort to bring free entertainment to the families in the communities we serve, and to bring foot traffic to all of the amazing businesses in downtown Elk River.”
Join The Bank of Elk River staff this year as they listen to great music and shoot t-shirts into the stands every Thursday at 7 p.m. from mid-June through August. Visit The City of Elk River’s Riverfront Series webpage at elkrivermn.gov/RiverfrontConcertSeries for the full concert series lineup.
