IT Supervisor

Summary:

The Bank of Elk River currently has a full time IT Supervisor opening at our Main Street Office in Elk River.


SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supervising the IT Help Desk staff as well as providing technical support to staff by promptly and professionally responding to inquiries and requests for assistance with bank’s computers, applications and related technology.Able to identify, analyze and resolve complex software, hardware and network issues quickly and efficiently. This position is responsible for collaborating with IT Managed Service provider on network security, performing and/or coordinating software and application installation/upgrades and ensuring that desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position works under the direction of the Director of Information Security and Technology to manage Help Desk staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise IT Help Desk staff including training, mentoring, day to day guidance, semi-annual reviews and timekeeping.
  • Collaborates with IT Managed Services provider on network security, including maintaining firewalls, configuring VPN, managing host security, file permissions, and file system integrity as well as resolving issues with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN) and other systems.
  • Works with the Director of Information Security and Technology and IT Managed Services provider technicians on IT related projects.
  • Recommends software/hardware purchases that optimize bank’s systems/platforms and enable end user to accomplish tasks more efficiently.
  • Provides technical support to end-users as needed by promptly responding to help desk requests/inquires. Escalates problems as required to IT Managed Services provider support teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology preferred
  • 5+ years related experience in IT roles
  • Experience in supervisory/management roles

Teller II

Summary:

The Bank of Elk River has a great career opportunity for a Full-Time Teller II to join our main office!

This position would be scheduled approx. 38 hours per week Monday thru Friday with both opening and closing shifts and rotating Saturdays.


Job Summary:

Accurately processes financial transactions and maintains cash accuracy in cash drawer. Cross-sells bank products and services by looking for sales opportunities while assisting customers and non-customers.

A Teller II is able to perform all essential functions written in the Teller job description. At this level the Teller has full knowledge of banking regulations and internal control procedures. They possess the ability and confidence to make service decisions regarding customers that are beyond the normal every-day operations of a Teller.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Regularly is responsible for vault teller transactions which include areas such as: buying and selling cash, ordering cash from Federal Reserve, preparing currency/coin for shipment, balancing the vault/ATM
  • Provides exceptional customer service to current and potential customers, processes customer transactions accurately and efficiently and responds to customer inquiries in an efficient, timely and courteous manner.
  • Maintains established cash drawer limits and meets balancing standards.
  • Has knowledge of bank products and services and is able to educate customers on basic checking and savings accounts.
  • Actively looks for opportunities to cross sell products and services including making referrals to meet customer’s needs.
  • Observes security procedures.


Qualifications:
  • 2 years Teller experience preferred.
  • Vault Teller and New Account experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and knowledge of banking.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
